Brent Klavon
Brent Klavon is the Director of Commercial Drones at Aviation Systems Engineering Company (ASEC), a veteran-owned small business that provides manned and unmanned aviation services. Prior to entering private industry, Brent logged 3,000 pilot flight hours while serving 20 years in the U.S. Navy, including ground breaking efforts to develop its two largest drone programs. He is honored to be appointed as an U.S. drone expert to the International Organization of Standards (ISO), appointed to the National Board of Directors for the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), a voting member of ASTM International Committee for UAS, participates in several NASA UAS-related working groups, is the President of the AUVSI Florida Peninsula Chapter, a FAA UAS Test Site Aviation Safety Officer, a Board member of Florida Emergency Management Unmanned Consortium, and member of the Jacksonville University Aviation Advisory Board and Florida State College of Jacksonville Aviation Advisory Committee. Brent holds FAA airman certificates as a Commercial Pilot and Remote Pilot.
