GIS and NextGen 9-1-1 Who Knows What When and How - AICP/CM Approved 1.5

Feedback form is now closed.
For years, the 9-1-1 community has heard that NextGen 9-1-1 is coming. But what does that mean? What is NG9-1-1? When should 9-1-1 call centers expect to start using NextGen technology? How will NG9-1-1 impact GIS? The URISA NextGen 9-1-1 Task Force, formed in 2016, presents a panel of GIS and 9-1-1 professionals to discuss the answers to these questions and more. Perspectives of the panelists range from local 9-1-1 centers to the national NextGen9-1-1 NOW Coalition. Bring your questions and hear the latest on how GIS and 9-1-1 are integrating to stay current in the ever-changing world of emergency response.

Attendance at this session will offer: 1.5 AICP credits
