Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) may be new to GIS professionals, but in the 9-1-1 world, it has been years in the making. And GIS data plays a starring role! Presentations will cover the meaning of the alphabet soup that comprises NG9-1-1 - speak, and how the relationships between NG911 functionality, stakeholder considerations, and GIS data work together in the environment of Civilian and Military 911 emergency response.
